Terms of Use – VidLab

Welcome to VidLab. Please read these Terms of Use ("Terms") carefully before using the VidLab mobile application.
By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the VidLab application, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not download, install, access, or use the application.
1. Application Description
VidLab is an AI-powered video generation application that allows users to create videos from text prompts and images. The application uses third-party artificial intelligence technologies, including but not limited to Fal AI, to process user-provided input and generate video content.
2. User Accounts
VidLab may provide access through anonymous or registered user profiles. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account or user identifier.
You agree not to misuse the application or allow unauthorized access. VidLab reserves the right to suspend or terminate access if misuse, abuse, or violations of these Terms are detected.
3. User Content & AI Generation
3.1 User Content and Ownership
You retain ownership of the text, images, or other materials you upload ("User Input"). Subject to these Terms and the terms of applicable third-party AI providers, you own the videos generated using the application ("Generated Content").
3.2 AI Processing and Third-Party Providers
To enable AI video generation, User Input may be transmitted to third-party AI providers solely for processing and content generation purposes. User Input is not used for advertising or tracking.
3.3 Acceptable Use
You agree not to generate, upload, or use content that:
- Is unlawful, abusive, threatening, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.
- Promotes hate, violence, or discrimination against individuals or groups.
- Infringes intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights.
- Creates malicious deepfakes or impersonates real individuals without consent.
- Contains child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or exploits minors in any way.
VidLab reserves the right to restrict content and suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms.
4. Subscriptions, Credits, and Purchases
Certain features require paid subscriptions or one-time credit purchases.
4.1 Billing
All payments are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and are subject to their respective terms. Billing occurs in advance on a recurring basis (e.g., monthly or annually).
4.2 No Refund Policy
- All subscriptions, credits, and in-app purchases are non-refundable, except where required by applicable law.
- Unused credits have no monetary value and cannot be refunded, transferred, or exchanged.
- Any refund requests must be submitted directly through the platform where the purchase was made and are subject to that platform’s policies.
4.3 Subscription Cancellation
Subscriptions may be canceled at any time through app store account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Remaining credits may expire according to the applicable plan.
5. Intellectual Property
The application, including its design, features, and original content (excluding User Input and Generated Content), is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
6. Termination
VidLab may suspend or terminate access at any time, without prior notice, if these Terms are violated or the application is misused.
Provisions that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and governing law.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The application is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without warranties of any kind.
VidLab does not guarantee that AI-generated content will be accurate, unique, reliable, or suitable for any particular purpose. AI systems may produce incorrect or unexpected results.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, VidLab shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of or inability to use the application, including loss of data, profits, or goodwill.
9. Changes to These Terms
VidLab reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the application after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Turkey, without regard to conflict of law principles.
